Yipee!

I just realized that after a long time I am getting to see the sun come up when I leave my house in the morning. And if I'm lucky I may even catch the last rays of daylight when I get back home.

Three cheers for long summer days that are just around the corner!

@ seashells we've had a mild winter too this year. The snowstorm last weekend was the only snow since December. I love the snow in winter, but I hate the short days. It has been pitch dark when I leave home at 6 in the morning and dark when I get back home in the evening. I love the sun and miss seeing it during winter.
@ dd but that's just this weekend. We've already started warming up to upper fifties here. I don't mind the snow. I just long for longer days.
@ sines well it's 57 degrees out here today....summer can't be that far behind.
@ true blue guy you're in sunny California, right? I love sunny days too.
@ ashmi don't get me wrong. I love winter too. I am just tired of seeing the house in darkness all the time. The only time I see the sun in winter is on a weekend when I can be home. I miss that.

Move to Denver, they claim to have >200 sunny days each year! :) This weekend will be very cold, but after that it should get back to 'normal'.

@ bonatellis and why is that?
@ kele panchu they say something about daylight and melatonin secretion that keeps you ina good mood. There's somthing called seasonal depression. Seems lot of people have winter depression because of lack of melatonin secretion.
@ rimi ki korbo....surjer mukh na dekhle boddo depression hoy
@ satchisgod it is all about global warming. We had a 57F temp today. Aamar shokh kore banano snowman tao goley jabe :(

@ true blue guy wow you pick the best places to live in.
@ ron :))) Circumstances direct priorities.
@ grafxgurl :) Is it really that hot in India, already?

i think i've asked you this in some post of somebody else's blog before... why on earth would you get up and leave so early in the morning ????? no job is worth the effort, no matter how much they pay you !!! i would quit if i were you :D

@ saale those are really beautiful lines. What song is that?
@ grafxgurl I guess replacing the jeans with cotton khakis or shorts would be cooler. But innovative nonetheless:)
@ inkblot thanks for stopping here. I enjoy each season to the fullest and would never give one up for the other. The winter's been really mild this year and I loved the snowstorm last weekend. But now it's warming up again.
@ casa :) go ahead....go shopping...it makes you feel good.
@ fosix thanks for visiting here. And agreed no job is worth the effort like you say. BUt it is not the money (you wouldn't believe how little I get paid)....it is something more than that. Sometimes it takes a little more than just effort to make something happen. And I keep trying....

@ cinthia you have company in me :) and thanks a lot for stopping by.
@ a fool on the hill I've heard that and I wouldn't like that either. The four seasons make life so much more complete. And every season with its special characteristic feature has a beauty of its own. I would not trade that for an all year comfortable no-change season!
@ satchisgod eta ektu beshi awaj dewa hoye gelo na? But you brought a smile to my face first thing in the morning.
@ dreamcatcher its all in accepting each season I guess. If you do that then almost everyseason can be enjoyed.
