Random thoughts on a can't-wait-to-go-home friday afternoon

Have you noticed how some people have this really peculiar and irritating way of saying "uh-huh" after everything you say? Sing-songy and nerve-rackingly bothersome. I hate it.

And where are all the blogs that I read disappearing to? Is this some kind of conspiracy to leave me out? I'm tired of seeing:

Just hitting the refresh button might solve the problem. :)

there are other blogger domains. A lot of folks I know are migrating to their own private domains. Better to spend money in owning a blog than losing money stock markets anyway (check the markets today).

ooooh yess!! that "uh huh" is soooo annoying!! knew this female once who would say "uh huh" to everything in the most annoying nasal way...sooo irritating!!

I know somebody who goes "Understood" each time I say something. But not in an irritating way, but just to save me the trouble of explaining any further.

Almost every american I know does go "Uh Huh" - and especially the less educated ones (think that runs the risk of sounding like a prejudiced and wide-sweeping generalization)

What is this thing you are talking about the requested URL not being found on the server - I ask with a sheepish smile. :-)

@ seashells thank you for stopping by. And it's okay if people are migrating but why not leave a fwding address?
@ kele panchu you think I haven't tried? And this isn't a one-time thing, these pages have disappeared for days.....
@ bengali guy don't even mention the stock markets....too depressing for words.
@ ashmi I guess they think it's cool. But it's downright annoying.
This last post was hardly a post, it was just some venting out on my part :))
@ ron the nasal tone makes it worse :))
@ ubergeek understood :)
@ sines and you ask me????
@ bonatellis may be everyone wants to go undercover.
@ true blue guy I'm glad you are around and please stay.
@ grafxgurl well I don't have anyone's email address which makes it harder. To be fair two of the disappearing folks did email me their url....therefore not everyone is being mean.
@ the monk it is...trust me.
@ casa these are people who are trying to establish a new blog and new identity and have signed off their existing blog. Refreshing won't help here.

some of us come back, unable to exist without satitating our egos by going on and on about ourselves.

@ brown magic I am glad. Because my day remains incomplete without reading each one's ravings and rantings and satiating the egos :))
